Barry the Bluebell - Botanical Beasts Pattern Collection

£4.50

Barry the Bluebell Dragon is the second published pattern of my Botanical Beasts Pattern Collection.

This digital pattern is targeted at INTERMEDIATE TO ADVANCED crocheters, due to the techniques and stitches used in the pattern. This amigurumi pattern is written in ENGLISH and uses US CROCHET TERMINOLOGY. Descriptions for all stitches are not included in the pattern but can be found online. The head, body and tail are worked in one piece, and the petals are crocheted into the work, so the only sewing needed is for the leaves and legs. The pattern includes techniques such as crocheting pieces together, including wire, sewing, and creating short rows. All these techniques are taught using detailed step-by-step pictures and are very valuable skills that will take your crochet work to the next level. I also have a video for support with the short rows for those who are visual learners and find this technique difficult. The pattern is mostly worked in a spiral with the exception of the petals and leaves which are worked in rows.

Barry is a really fun project which would make a great gift to any nature/whimsical/cottagecore loving person! It also makes great decor, and is an especially good desk friend for getting through your 9-5.

The pattern includes instructions for how to make Barry with or without using wire. This allows you to make both a cuddly version of Barry and one that is ideal for display and posing in pictures. Barry can be made in different yarn types, and the pattern includes instructions for where you might need to account for differences in yarn or your personal tension and techniques to make sure you get a great final product every time.

You will be able to download two versions of this pattern; a printer-friendly version and a coloured, stylised version ideal for tablets, phones and laptops.

*THIS IS A DIGITAL PATTERN FILE, YOU WILL NOT RECIEVE A PHYSICAL PRODUCT.*

This pattern has been thoroughly tested by other crocheters with different levels of experience to make sure the instructions are clear and accurate. You can see their amazing work featured in the last picture of this listing and I highly recommend you check out their work on Instagram.
